Support Family resulted from a collaboration between the artist Nuno Cera and Barbas Lopes Arquitectos for the Abraxas Exhibition. For that occasion we designed a wood structure to frame a silkscreened image. We were asked again to design another one for an exhibition in Luxembourg. The materials and their expression are being kept simple — wood, brass and steel —and are related on how we see Nuno’s work, frame by frame. As like all families, it is expected to grow.
